Weekends that sell out
- Virginia vs. Virginia Tech, Saturday, Nov. 28, Thanksgiving weekend. The biggest game in the state, with families already together for the holiday.
- Homecoming (October). In 2026 it was Oct. 17 vs. Georgia Tech. Lock in 2027 early.
- Friday night games, like Pitt on Oct. 2 this year. A long day in the lot calls for a real base.
- Commencement in May. Blacksburg hotels fill up just like on game days.
